ion for food enthusiasts. My love for baking and cooking started early, earlier than I likely remember, but my earliest memories developed at the helm of my easy bake oven. As I grew older, and graduated to a real human sized oven, I baked and cooked every chance I got. I shuffled through old family recipe boxes, created my own mysterious concoctions after school, and eventually got good enough it was edible ;). I fondly remember making meatballs with my dad, everything-but-the-kitchen-sink pastas with a family friend, cookies with my aunt, batch cooking pumpkin bars for my entire sorority, stirring a pot of hot soup for a friend on a cold winter night, the list goes on. These are some of my favorite memories - cooking with and for the ones I love. As I got older, I realized food was more to me than fueling our bodies, but also central to creating memorable moments, exploration and history, and most importantly sharing love, fun and care. Now living on Nantucket, I noticed a gap I wanted to fill. I wanted to create locally made, locally sourced ready to eat snacks that can easily be enjoyed across the island. Whether you are tossing pesto on a pasta for a backyard dinner, enjoying a dip with chips on the beach, picking over a cheeseboard at a party or eating a cookie out on the boat in the setting sun - I hope you taste a bit of love and Nantucket in every bite.
